"My relationship with food in the last 10 years was terrible. Whenever I went out to eat I was afraid to eat too many calories, developing a binge eating problem. I was great at losing fat. I knew what to do, but I could never maintain my physique. I was in this constant cycle of eating my way back to where I started. But since working with Steve, I feel like a different person. "Through this program I have learnt to make small and incremental changes. I have learnt what “eating healthy” truly means for the lifestyle I want to have – because “eating healthy” means totally different things to different people who may have different physical goals! I want to be lean and strong – so this means what I eat is specific to the achieving these results. I never understood the importance of protein like I do now. Very importantly, I have learned how to incorporate enjoyable meals into my lifestyle rather than eat boring stuff, feel dissatisfied, compensated with tasty but calorie dense food and then regret it after overindulging. The work I have done in the last 12mths has also meant my relationship with alcohol has naturally changed – I haven’t had to force a change or feel like I am giving something up.
